We Believe

The Bible is the inspired word of God.

It reveals God’s plan and is our instruction manual for life. (2 Timothy 3:16, 17; Deuteronomy 29:29; Psalm 119:105)

God the Father is the Creator of all things.
He is infinite and eternal. He is loving, all knowing, all-powerful, always present, and perfect in every way, in complete control and never changing. (Genesis 1:1-31,2:1; Psalm 90:2; 1 John 4:8,3:20; Hebrews 4:13; 6:17;Luke 1:37; Psalm 139:3,5,7-10; Deuteronomy 32:4; Isaiah 46:9,10)

God the Son is Jesus Christ who was born of a virgin and became man, lived a perfect life, died for the sins of all and arose from the dead to live forever.
(Isaiah 7:14; Hebrews 4:14, 15; 7:24, 25; 1 Corinthians 15:3, 4)

God the Holy Spirit is received by every Christian at conversion, that the filling of the Holy Spirit is necessary to lead the Christian life, and that the Holy Spirit leads and guides us. (John 16:5-15; Ephesians 1:13, 14)

Every person matters to God, but all are separated from God because of their failure to meet God’s standards (sins). Romans 3:23, 5:8, 6:23; 1John 1:8)

Forgiveness of sins and the gift of eternal life are available to anyone who believes in the name of Jesus Christ, God’s one and only Son. Jesus is the only way to God. Those accepting Christ should repent of sin, confess their faith and be baptized into Him. (1 John 1:9; John 3:16, 14:6; Romans 10:9; Acts 2:38)

Church refers to people, not buildings. A living body, of which, Jesus Christ is the Head. It exists to please God by: reaching out to people with the good news of Jesus Christ, acknowledging His nature through acts jof heartfelt praise and deed, sharing in one another’s lives, learning to imitate Jesus Christ, and meeting the needs of people in our community.

The future holds the return of Jesus Christ and the judgment of all people. Some will spend eternity with God in Heaven and others will live separate from Him forever.
(John 3:36; Matthew 13:37-43, 25:46)
